Yes, uhuh, you read it right. And I hope I did too. I read somewhere that GMA-7 (that’s Channel 7, folks) would air the anime BLEACH this October.

Goddamn, that would be great.

Ouran High School Host Club Review

Only few words can describe this series: excruciatingly insanely funny. I am a sucker for comedies and award-winning stuffs, and this anime series particularly exceeds my usual standards. Yeah, it’s really that good.

I first came across Ouran Host Club just recently, when I was browsing a DevianArt account. In that account, I saw a fanart featuring the main characters of the said series. I dismissed the fanart, mostly because I can’t appreciate the drawing that much because it’s chibi. Fortunately, I managed to read the series which the fanart came from before I hit the X button.

And then, with luck, I was able to purchased a copy of Ouran Host Club just last week, when I went crazy shopping over some DVDs. I only managed to watch it just this Tuesday, and that’s when I finished the first 18 episodes in one sitting. I just kept watching one episode after another, and I was so glued to the screen it strained my eyes. But hell, it was so damn funny, I was laughing so hard that my tummy hurt.

Ouran High School Host Club has 26 episodes, each runs for about half hour or less. I only managed to purchase 20 episodes, though it’s enough to say that this series is excellent.

However I don’t recommend it to people who are just starting to watch animes and stuff, because you can get a huge culture shock from watching this. This series is filled with stuffs like yuri and yaoi hints, shotacons, moe, cross-dressing and some weird things that are unexplainable. But for otakus and die-hard anime lovers, I recommend this highly. Definitely a must-see.

PLOT (from animenewsnetwork.com):

Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the wealthy, which she was only able to attend because of a scholarship. Looking for a place to study, she enters a music room, only to find that it’s being used by the Ouran Host Club. The guys of the host club intentionally play up their attributes to please the customers, which even they realize is silly, but it does work like a charm. Haruhi thinks it’s all ridiculous, but before she can leave, she accidentally breaks a vase. She can’t pay for it, so she’s told that she’ll have to stay and do odd jobs. She does this until they realize that she would be more valuable as a real member of the club. Not realizing she’s female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She makes such a handsome boy, they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out she’s a girl. Although she thinks the guys are crazy, they seem to be good people, and not having much choice, she plays along.

P.S. There is more than peaches and cream on this series, that I can assure you. ^__^

I find it amusing, funny and even laughable why people even wonder why the hell we end up this way. Why our pleasant little world had become like this. I mean, isn’t it obvious? For starters, humans tend to fight over things for the pettiest reasons. Fucking petty reasons. We kill and feed on other people’s sufferings, and now you’re asking why? Why not?

You can see them on my profile. The Yamapi Power and Byecycle (spelled like it was because they say byecycle everytime their class is over. That’s why it’s called byecycle meaning "bye") clips are both from the dorama Nobuta Wo Produce. The series is hilarious, I was actually laughing my head off at the middle of the night when I was watching it. Yamapi is very cute and adorable~ especially when he does the konkon and the nobuta power routine. And he laughs real funny. It can drive anyone insane. Episodes are available at youtube.com. You can watch from there. I seriously recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh. And the story has great life lessons we all can learn from.

Side Note: I can’t believe how Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa) is so popular in Japan. He’s even affiliated with Hideaki Takizawa. o__O Kon!

Have you watched the H2 dorama? Yamada Takayuki is soo adorable here. *nods* I first saw him on Waterboys, but didn’t give much of a damn because he looks kinda dorky there, pero nung napanood ko yung H2, I thought to myself: wow, this guy could really act. I mean, unlike other j-actors na walang ginawa kundi magpa-cute, si Yamada marunong talagang umarte. I saw the difference between the characters he portrayed in Waterboys and H2. Kankuro Shindo is very different from Hiro Kunimi, personality-wise (both were the main characters of Waterboys and H2 respectively).

H2 is about a boy named Hiro Kunimi, an ace pitcher of his school during junior high. It’s about passion for baseball apparently, pero you don’t have to know baseball para ma-appreciate yung series. Ako nga walang kaalam-alam sa baseball pero nagustuhan ko sya. I really recommend that you watch it. Meron sa http://youtube.com, complete sya. Just type the keywords H2 Live Action.

Wish ko talaga na ipalabas sya sa any local channels dito. I’m sure maraming magagandahan. ^__^

i was reading my last post and it sounded so ridiculous. demmet. actually, i was only kidding. though some of it were quite true. never mind anyway.

Know why people are acting the way they do? Mainly it’s because of the way they were brought up, the way society molded them, and I am so damned unfortunate to be living in this kind of society. I am in no way blaming my country, because I do dearly love my country more than anything. I am talking about my particular society, my little cramped space, where hapless people forsakenly dwell. And why the hell am I speaking in English?

Ampotah. Hindi ko malaman kung bakit ako napapaligiran ng ganung mga klaseng tao. May gusto akong balikang oras kung saan yung mga tao sa paligid ko eh malaki ang pag-unawa sa akin. Alam ko suicidal ako, at maswerte dahil hanggang ngayon eh hindi pa rin ako natutuluyan (sa kasamaang palad). Pero how much is too much? May mga oras na seryosong pinag-iisipan kong magpakamatay. It was during last 2 summers na muntikan na akong magbigti. Astig? Hindi. Dahil hindi ko naman natuloy. Sana nga natuloy ko na lang para at least ma-tv man lang ako.

Anywho, alam ko namang maaga akong mamamatay. Nararamdaman ko. Oo. Seryoso. Medyo may takot, pero handa na ako. I mean, diba mas astig yung wala ka nang pinoproblema? Wala na akong pake sa iisipin mo (na tinatakbuhan ko ang buhay). Tatawanan lang kita kung saka-sakaling mamatay ako, at nakikita kang nagdurusa. Oh, diba? Revenge. Bakit kamo tingin ko malapit na akong mamatay? Dahil ngayong 2nd year, pilit ko nang ginagawa lahat ng bagay na gusto kong gawin. Yung passion ko sa art, sa collecting stuffs. Lahat. Para bang ang dating, habang maaga gusto ko magawa ko na lahat. Para akong nagmamadali sa buhay. Weird talaga.

On the other hand, I am a frustrated artist/painter, play director, sound engineer, interior designer, graphics designer, vector creator and many other roles I am dying to do. (Who gives a fucking damn? XD)

Nevertheless, I will buy my own painting tools by the end of the sem and will paint a modern art painting for my brother’s house. Eat that.

Won 2nd place on one of the contests I joined. Not bad, really. Because I’ll still be able to get a price. Hope the first prize winner wouldn’t choose a manga, yeah, because I prefer that.

On the other hand, I AM SO DUPER UBER HAPPY, cause we got our cable back!!! Haha! It’s not really cable, to be exact. It’s a satellite disc, but it still transmits cable channels, so I don’t give a damn overall. LALALALALAALA. HAHADIHAHA!

Moon Child (Gackt and Hyde’s movie) is crap. That’s all I’m saying.
